The last month and a half was quite a journey. From Austria, to Italy, then Russia, and Whistler.
We started out in Austria for a little bit of training and then went to world cups in Italy. Everyone had a blast with an awesome downhill track in Tarvisio. Perfect snow conditions and warm weather. It was a good way to get ready for Sochi.

Another awesome trip with the team, kicking off World Cups where it originated in Panorama, BC with one Downhill, Super G, Super combi, and Giant Slalom race. I was very happy with my Downhill results which is my best speed result up to date( 7th place). When I started the day of the super combi I knew I could get into the top 5 that day and I just didn't preform as well as I wanted, I knew exactly what I needed to do and it just wasn't quite there. The same goes towards my tech events You really have to fully commit yourself in the race if you want to get into the top 5 and you have to fight the whole way down and finding that next gear when you start to get tired.
